Spooky Story Contest and Photography Contest Results

Hey there Chobots! As the Chobots Team promised, they're hosting another Halloween Themed Contest! With Halloween in only a little over two weeks, this contest could definitely help you get in the spirit. 

The task of this contest is to create a Halloween Story. To create your story, you have to use this Template. Your story should meet the following guidelines: Must be a Scary Story, Related to Chobots and Halloween, and it should be Creative. 

You have until October 21st to complete your entry. Once you have completed your entry, comment the link on this post. (If the Commenting system doesn't load, try clearing your cache or switching browsers.) Winners will receive some sweet prizes.

Also, in recent news. The staff member, Paris hosted a Photography contest on the Chobots Forum! If you have ever met Paris, you probably know she has a strong passion for photography. You can check out her awesome photos by clicking here. Our winners are:

The winners had some fantastic pictures! The creativity and meaning of each picture is clearly expressed, and each user came up with something very unique. Each winner received a Paris Shirt in a color of their choice and 7,500 Bugs. 

This is an example of the complete opposite of Photography.

Design a Costume Contest

Hi Chobots! With Halloween just around the corner, the Chobots Team realized we need more costumes. So, they're hosting another Design a Costume Contest!

For this contest your task is to Design a brand new Halloween Themed Costume. Something that hasn't ever been designed before and is completely your own, original idea. This means you can't use a design you have previously made, or another person's design. 

You have an entire week (until Saturday, October 19th.) to submit your entry. You can draw your Design on paper and take a picture or design it on the computer. Most Designers use Flash to design official items made in-game. If you want an increased chance of your Design being made, you can use this template. 

You can create as many Designs as you please, just try not to spam up the Comments on the Main Blog with multiple entries. 

Winners will receive a Week of Citizenship, 5,000 Bugs, and Their item! Once you have completed your Design(s) remember to comment them here.

Research Contest Winners

Hey Chobots! You probably recall the Chobots Team held an Autumn/Halloween Research Contest about a week ago. The task of the Contest was to use the template provided and research and write facts you know about Halloween/Autumn. After quite a few entries it came down to four winners. Two winners from the Halloween portion of the contest and Two winners from the Autumn portion of it.

Alexander kept his entry pretty simple. Decking it out with an Orange Background, some leaves, a Pumpkin and including his Chobot. Plus, with a few, but very interesting facts. 

Next we have Alert's entry. He kept his template with the simple style, but went all out writing TONS of fascinating facts.

Then we have AustinIsMyName's entry. He kept his entry pretty simple, but with a subtle/creepy picture of a scary Chobot. He listed a few pretty awesome facts.

Lastly, but certainly not least we have Randomzzz's entry. You can tell he spent quite a bit of time decorating his template with a bunch of cute little Halloween Decorations. In it he listed quite a few facts I have never even heard before. 

Congratulations to all of the winners! All of your entries were fantastic, and I learned quite a few things I hadn't ever heard before. Each winner will receive a Scroll Hand Item, 7 Days of Citizenship, and 5,000 Bugs. 

There should be plenty more Contests to look forward to in the future.

Palm Tree Painting Contest

Greetings everyone! The trees around the Chobots world have been looking quite plain lately. So, to help add some color to them, the Chobots Team has decided to host a palm tree painting contest! 

The contest will last from today, October 4th, until October 6th! That means you have the weekend to try and get your name to the top of the leader-board! Winners of the contest will win some cool prizes.

If you suspect anyone of cheating take a picture or video and e-mail it to Support@chobots.net. Cheating will not be tolerated, and anyone caught will be disqualified.

Game Night - In 5 Minutes

Hey Chobots! Well, this is a rather late post considering Game Night is in less than 5 minutes. Anyway, it had been probably over a month since the last Game Night so the Chobots Team decided to hold one again.

Game Night is a night 
where all the Games on Chobots are open to compete in. Usually ranging from an hour or even three hours. During that time you have to try to get to First Place on the game you choose. If you reach First Place you'll win an exclusive Game Night prize item, plus Bugs, and Citizenship. 

Game Night Starts at 9 PM Cho-Time. (Right now!)

Also, if you have already won a Game Night in the past you cannot win it again in that same Game. But, you can win in a different game.

If you catch anyone cheating, please take a picture and email it to Support@Chobots.net.

Red Carpet Winners

Hey there Chobots. Today the Chobots Team hosted a Red Carpet type of event. It was the first ever Chollywood Weekend. Unfortunately I was unable to attend this event, however the event left us with some Chobots that won prizes.  

During the event the Chobots Team looked out for users that combined some fancy red carpet-worthy outfits. Afterwards, we now have four best-dressed Chobots. Congratulations to Luna, ElmoSwag, Randomzzz and Destrotant. Each of you received Five days of Citizenship, 5,000 Bugs, and a Sun Shield item.

Garbage Contest

Hello Chobots! The Chobots Team realized that an awful stench was filling up the Chobots World. They tried to figure out a way to get rid of this stench and realized that the Garbage Collector was extremely full. That's when they decided to hire the best Garbage eliminators around to get rid of all this Garbage - you! 

Starting today, Sunday, 
Septemeber 22nd until Wednesday, September 25th you have to get rid of all that garbage. This gives you exactly three days to destroy all of that gross garbage. The top three that eliminate the most trash will be awarded some pretty sweet prizes!

Comic Contest

Salutations Chos! The Chobots team realized it had been quite awhile since they held a Comic Contest, so now they're hosting one. 

For this Comic Contest the Team has asked us to create a comic explaining what we will do this Autumn. Your comic will be judged on creativity. The most creative Comics will win an awesome prize!

Summer Design Contest

Greetings everyone! Summer time is my favorite season. Not only because of the warm weather and vacation from school, but also because of the awesome Summer clothes you get to wear. All of the colors are so vibrant, plus sunglasses and hats are my favorite accessories! Well, since Chobots is in need of some new Summer items, you get to design and enter your item(s) for a chance to get it implemented in-game. That's right! Michael, our newest designer is hosting the contest on the Forum. To enter, simply comment your design on this thread. 

You're not limited to just clothing either. You can enter your designs of accessories, furniture for your house, and anything you can possibly think of! You have from July 21st, all the way until July 31st. That means you have ten days to design your items and enter them. You can design the items using a computer designing software or just draw them with a pencil and paper. You can enter as many items as you please. You are not limited in any way. 

As with all contests, plagiarism, cheating, etc. will not be tolerated. If you are caught cheating, you will be disqualified from the contest.

Lots of Updates :)

Hey there Chobots! The Chobots Team added some new awesome clothing to the Catalogs today. These items can help you make a very stylish Summer Outfit. :D

All of the items are pretty cheap, so if you want to make a cool Summer Outfit, it won't take you very much time. 

Also, now since it's July it's time to recruit new Journalists. 

Journalism is a special program made for Chobots that have Blogs. Every month the Team will look for interesting, fun blogs that meet these requirements:

• Your blog should at least be One Month Old. 
• You should frequently update your blog with updates, fun content, etc. 
• Always write posts yourself. They cannot be copied from someone or somewhere else.
• Try to keep your blog creative and nice with a good header and template.

If your blog can fulfill these requirements, comment your blog's link on THIS post on the Main Blog. Journalists will receive pretty cool perks such as:

• Your blog will be shown on the Main Chobots blog, as well as on the Play page. 
• A Journalist Badge added to your Playercard with the name of your blog.
• The ability to Private Message Moderators, even if their Playercard is blocked. 
• You will be allowed to write one post on the Main Blog.

You have until Friday, July 19th to submit your blog. 

Please note: If you are a current Journalist and would like to continue, you will also have to re-submit your blog. 

In addition to these updates, you may recall the Garbage Collector Contest hosted to eliminate the horrible smells and garbage.

After lots of Garbage blasted off of the Chobots world, we have our top three Competitors. Elthomii, placing First Place won a First Place Medal, 7 days of Citizenship and 10,000 Bugs. Illusiion coming in Second Place earned himself a Second Place Medal, 5 days of Citizenship and 7,000 Bugs. Lastly but certainly not least Commando placed Third Place winning himself a Third Place Medal, 3 days of Citizenship and 5,000 Bugs. Good job everyone! If you didn't win this time, don't worry about it there will always be more contests. :)

And, to conclude this post we have our Comic Contest Winners! Lot's of silly, funny and great Comics entered, but there could only be three winners. 

Firstly we have Santos, with his awesome Comic about how he finds out what the Nichos have planned for Chopix, and how they captured Gune. He won 10 days of Citizenship, 10,000 Bugs and a Comic Hand Item.

Then we have ToastyTim with his hilarious comic. It's a story about how the Nicho's daughter would like a... Chobot..? For her Birthday. He won 7 days of Citizenship, 7,000 Bugs and a Comic Hand Item. 

Finally we have Fangirl9091's Entry. Her storyline was pretty simple, but it had some hidden silly scenes. She won 5 days of Citizenship, 5,000 Bugs and a Comic Hand Item.

Garbage Collector Contest!

Greetings Cho's! As I walked past the Garbage Collector game, I could not believe the horrifying smell that came from it. I looked over and saw that Garbage was nearly falling out of the collector!

The Chobots Team noticed the same issue, so now they assigned us a new contest. For this Contest you have until July 11th to get rid of all that Garbage. So, ride on over and start blowing up all that gross stuff! The top three players that blast enough Garbage will receive some awesome prizes.

Beach Drawing Contest and Game Night

Hello Chobots! Happy day after the Fourth of July..? Err, okay Happy Friday! Woohoo! Since it's been two weeks since the last Game Night that means.... THE ZOMBIES WILL TAKE OVER! Kidding, it means another fun Game Night! :D

Game Night is the one and only amazing night where all the games on Chobots are open. Try to compete and earn yourself First Place to win some amazing prizes! Game Night will usually last from about an hour all the way to three hours. If you catch a user cheating please send proof of this to Support@Chobots.net

Also, in other news we're having a Beach Drawing Contest! Now, what does that mean? Well, we're supposed to draw our Chobots chilling at the beach. You can use the Undergrounds, draw on paper in real life, or any other way you can think of. 

Maybe your Chobot can be eating icecream, surfing, swimming, anything that you enjoy doing at the beach! :) You have exactly One Week to enter this contest. Once you have completed your entry, be sure to comment the photo of it on this post. You can use Tinypic.com to upload your photo, then post the link on the Main Blog post.

Independence Day and A New Contest

I love all of the Summer months, but for some reason, I really enjoy July. Not only is it the warmest month where I am, but it's the month where I seem to do the most Summer activities and just have a fun time. Well, a holiday that people in the USA celebrate is Independence Day or commonly referred to, the 4th of July! It's a lot of fun to watch the Fireworks, enjoy a barbecue and realize how grateful we should be for this day. Since it is an important and special day, the Chobots team will be hosting a fun party for us to attend!

There will be lots of themed magic, music and rain. Also, the best Independence Day themed outfits will be awarded by the Staff Members.

In case you needed some themed accessories for tomorrow, the Chobot's team has added three nice items that complete any outfit. Plus, all of the items are quite affordable and they are for Juniors as well! 

Besides this fun party, there is an exciting contest on the Main Blog. As you know, Nichos have been our enemy since the beginning. They have tried countless times to steal our Cho-energy and they have even successfully kidnapped many helpless Chobots! One of the famous Chobots that had escaped the Nichos was Gune. For this contest, your mission is to create a comic about how Gune was kidnapped by the Nichos.

You have from today, July 3rd, all the way until July 10th to create your entry. You can edit the comic and create it anyway you'd like, just make sure to be creative!

Cho-Idol Champions and Staff Updates

Greetings fellow Chobots! Today the Cho-Idol Winners were announced, so without further ado here are our winners.

Congratulations to all three of you! You all had amazing songs with great, creative lyrics.

Here's what they each received:

You may have noticed Yaniv was promoted to Manager since Koiz had left. Lot's of players were happy for Yaniv, but also sad to see a former staff member leave. However, Koiz is now back on the team as a Manager again! She has had a name change to Bitten as well.

Also, Julia had left the same day Bitten did, but she also returned! And, the former Developer, Ethan has returned in addition!

Time to Sing!

Hello there Chobots! A new type of contest is now featured on the Main Blog. If you enjoy singing, or making songs then this contest is for you! Introducing the...



Yes, a Chobots Idol.  To enter this contest you have to make a song that is Chobots themed. You will be judged on a few things, your Creative use of song lyrics and How well you sing your song.  

After you have completed your song upload it to an Audio sharing website, like YouTube for example. Also, make sure to include your song lyrics in the description so the team can understand completely your song. You have until Saturday, June 1st to post your song. Good luck everyone! :)
