Research Contest Winners

Hey Chobots! You probably recall the Chobots Team held an Autumn/Halloween Research Contest about a week ago. The task of the Contest was to use the template provided and research and write facts you know about Halloween/Autumn. After quite a few entries it came down to four winners. Two winners from the Halloween portion of the contest and Two winners from the Autumn portion of it.

Alexander kept his entry pretty simple. Decking it out with an Orange Background, some leaves, a Pumpkin and including his Chobot. Plus, with a few, but very interesting facts. 

Next we have Alert's entry. He kept his template with the simple style, but went all out writing TONS of fascinating facts.

Then we have AustinIsMyName's entry. He kept his entry pretty simple, but with a subtle/creepy picture of a scary Chobot. He listed a few pretty awesome facts.

Lastly, but certainly not least we have Randomzzz's entry. You can tell he spent quite a bit of time decorating his template with a bunch of cute little Halloween Decorations. In it he listed quite a few facts I have never even heard before. 

Congratulations to all of the winners! All of your entries were fantastic, and I learned quite a few things I hadn't ever heard before. Each winner will receive a Scroll Hand Item, 7 Days of Citizenship, and 5,000 Bugs. 

There should be plenty more Contests to look forward to in the future.

September Journalism

Hello Chobots! With it being mid-September that means it's time to recruit some new Journalists. If you haven't heard of the Journalist program before, I'll explain it in this post. 

A Journalist is a Chobot that owns a blog. Their blog was hand selected by the Chobots Team to become part of the Journalism Program. They receive many special perks, which I will explain in this post. Anyone is eligible to become a Journalist if their blog meets these requirements:

• Your blog should be at least One Month old.
• It should be active and updated Weekly. (A minimum of 3 posts every week.)
• Your posts should always be written in your own words, and not plagiarized. You can read more about Plagiarism by clicking here. 
• Your blog should be nicely decorative and creative. A simple Header and clean Template will work as well. 

From all of this hard work Journalists will receive the following perks:

• Their blogs will be featured on the Official Chobots blogroll. 
• Their blog will be showcased on the "Play Now" page.
• A special Journalist badge on their Playercard, along with the name of their blog.
• They will be invited to write a post for the Main Blog.
• They have the ability to Private Chat a Moderator.
• They will be awarded one week of Citizenship, a Feather, and 10,000 Bugs.
• As well as the name-tags beneath their Chobot will be purple. 

If you believe you have what it takes to become a Journalist, comment your blog's link on this post on the Main Blog. Don't worry if you don't make it this time, it took Grace and I a bunch of tries until we earned Journalism. We just kept improving our blog and trying to make it better. 

You only have until September 24th to submit, otherwise you will have to wait until next month for the next Journalists.

Autumn/Halloween Themed Blog!

Hey everyone! It has been two months since this blog was actually active. During summer vacation, Alexa and I tend to get really lazy. 

Yep. We can't even motivate ourselves to write on our own blog. Still, now that school has started and we're getting back into the groove of things, we decided to reopen our blog! :D 

Alexa made an Autumn themed header, and I changed all of the colors on our blog to compliment it. Plus, be sure to listen to some of the Halloween themed music we have playing. :3 

Every season/holiday, we'll change our blog theme to match it. I can't wait until Valentine's day! I can finally make our blog PINK! :$
