A Journalist is a Chobot that owns a blog. Their blog was hand selected by the Chobots Team to become part of the Journalism Program. They receive many special perks, which I will explain in this post. Anyone is eligible to become a Journalist if their blog meets these requirements:
- Your blog should be at least One Month old.
- It should be active and updated Weekly. (A minimum of 3 posts every week.)
- Your posts should always be written in your own words, and not plagiarized. You can read more about Plagiarism by clicking here.
- Your blog should be nicely decorative and creative. A simple Header and clean Template will work as well.
From all of this hard work Journalists will receive the following perks:
- Their blogs will be featured on the Official Chobots blogroll.
- Their blog will be showcased on the "Play Now" page.
- A special Journalist badge on their Playercard, along with the name of their blog.
- They will be invited to write a post for the Main Blog.
- They have the ability to Private Chat a Moderator.
- They will be awarded one week of Citizenship, a Feather, and 10,000 Bugs.
- As well as the name-tags beneath their Chobot will be purple.
If you believe you have what it takes to become a Journalist, comment your blog's link on this post on the Main Blog. Don't worry if you don't make it this time, it took Grace and I a bunch of tries until we earned Journalism. We just kept improving our blog and trying to make it better.
You only have until September 24th to submit, otherwise you will have to wait until next month for the next Journalists.
